Mike DeLue is a communications specialist with the Scenarios Network for Alaska and Arctic Planning. His work guides development in both tools and data at the SNAP, and ties the group’s work to user needs and broader efforts. His research background in vulnerability and resilience mapping and international Arctic policy is supplemented by experience in the fields of education, non-profit, and communications work.

Originally from Pennsylvania, Mike received a BA in Globalization Studies from Gettysburg College in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania in 2012 and an MSc. in International Disaster Management from the University of Manchester’s Humanitarian and Conflict Response Institute in Manchester, United Kingdom in 2019.

In his off time you’ll find Mike reading, studying, skiing, hiking, or scuba diving across the Alaska interior.
