Mike DeLue is a communications specialist with the Scenarios Network for Alaska and Arctic Planning. His research experience is in vulnerability and resilience mapping and international Arctic policy, while his communications background includes writing, public speaking, video, radio, and more. He worked in non-profit work as well as in education with students from primary school through undergraduate level across four continents before coming to SNAP.

Originally from Pennsylvania, Mike received a BA in Globalization Studies from Gettysburg College in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania in 2012 and an MSc. in International Disaster Management from the University of Manchester’s Humanitarian and Conflict Response Institute in Manchester, United Kingdom in 2019.

In his off time you’ll find Mike reading, studying, skiing, hiking, or scuba diving across the Alaska interior.
