Kyle is a geospatial programmer with SNAP. He uses a variety of software and computational resources for manipulation and analysis of data, typically in a context where spatial information is a major component. He also contributes to development of SNAP’s web-based tools and data products. His academic background is in quantitative ecology, and he is generally interested in the process of deriving meaning from numerical data – something there is no shortage of in climate science. Outside of work, he enjoys an even mixture of nature and projects.
